Loop Martial Arts - aka Loop - has been a regular stop on my Saturday mornings. Loop is attended by people from all skill levels, from various clubs, and even from many different martial arts.

Immediately when entering the premises of Loop you notice the big, spacious and well-lit tatami, swarming with smiling people.

Today I got to e.g. with the chairman of judo club Chikara, Sampo Laine. We started naturally standing up and after a blink of an eye I was honored to experience his ippon sepi-nage, and to play an upside-down beetle.

I like stand-up figvting a lot and I am happy that there sre many people cross-training at Loop.

Hi! Here is next to me Sampo from Chikara We are here at Loop open mat, rolling A judoka by my side, has brown belt in judo What got you here to roll with BJJ people? I have to say that often for judokas the ground game is a weakness It's worth coming in here because BJJ people are usually specialized only in it You always get a good roll here, get to sweat, fitness improves, so it really doesn't require anything else. To me too! Fantastic to get to do stand up fighting with judokas. It was such an honor to be riding a fine ippon seoi-nage today. We got to the ground by it. Thank you Chikara, thank you Sampo for this. Here the Loop's open mat is absolutely a fantastic place for rolling. Come here! Thank you!
